The new album
The new album has just been sent for “mastering”. This, I believe, is a technical term for “making it sound better”. A nice chap in the US called “Jamz” (not his real name) is doing the job for us. He’s very efficient, so it should be ready soon. As I sit here, writing this on my laptop, I am listening to the album in my headphones. Isn’t technology great?
The album contains 13 songs which we have, for some reason, not included in other albums. Some of the tracks date back to the vintage age of Jonas and Plunkett ( a time we fondly remember as the “golden years”), whilst others were written and recorded just before I left for my jaunt down-under. The album is a bit more “pop” than the last couple of albums, but we’ve still managed to cram in a few of the classic guitar-and-cello-and-lots-of-vocal-harmony-type songs too. We’ve called it “Changing the subject” for 2 reasons: 1. The album represents a slight change of style for us, and 2. “Changing the subject” was our name. for our first 2 gigs ever.
We’ve even included a cover version of a Kylie track on the album.
Hope you all like it…
Adrian
